久しぶりのUnoでほとんど覚えてなかった() 皆さん！
とうとう僕が４時間で編集終わりました！
必ずうぬぼれない程度に褒めてください！

撮影したはいいけど半年くらい放置されてた動画を試しに編集してみたら、なかなか見れる動画になりました。かつ初めての画面上のカードゲーム映像を編集したのでズームインとかで画面がものすごい動いてますが、画面酔いしちゃったらごめんなさい。
あとはストレスでよく右クリック連打してしまうので、みんなの目がいかれないようにプルダウンメニューをグレー色に編集したりと、なかなかバリアフリーに沿った編集にしてるので褒めてください。

褒めてばっか言ってるような気がしますが、編集できて幸せなのでOKです←()

家電量販店などでよく見かけるAdobe製の買い切り動画編集ソフト"Premiere Elements"を試してみました。

１本動画を作ってみましたが、初心者向けを謳うソフトの割には思いのほか弄れる項目が多く、スタイルの保存なども出来るので思いのほか自由度が高かったです。初心者向けを謳うソフトなので当然プリセットスタイルも大量に用意されているほか、画像素材やエフェクト素材なども豊富です。素材の豊富さはさすが有料ソフト！といったところ。
しかし、あくまで初心者向けを謳うソフトなので本格的に自分の思うものを自由に作ろうといったことをする際にはFinal Cut ProやPremiere Proなどのソフトに比べてマウスの移動距離や手順が多く、編集の店舗が悪いです。

あくまでも、自分が好きに動画を作るというよりもAIによる自動編集機能などを活用した手軽で映える動画づくりに適したソフトであり、マニュアル編集で自分の好きなように動画を作ることには向いていないソフトです。
また、2024という最新バージョンでありながら、レンダリングや動画の書き出し、プレビューの表示にGPUを使用せず、すべてCPUに処理させています。おかげて重いし遅いです。これが非常にストレスです。

個人的にはお勧めできません。これに1.7万円かけるならば、少し奮発してPremiere Pro単体プランを契約するか、もう少し奮発してFinal Cut Proの購入をお勧めします。

せっかく使ったので、購入を検討してる人向けに軽く感想をかいとく。

〈使ってみた感想〉
・カット編集は普通にできる
・ツール持ち替えなどの概念がないので全体的にテンポが悪い
・特にテキスト編集のテンポが悪すぎる
・エフェクトやグラフィック素材は豊富
・目玉機能の中核となるSensei系の機能は試してないので未知数。多分Proと同じかな？
・レンダリングや書き出しはソフトウェア処理かつCPUしか使わないので遅い
・プレビュー激重（M1 Max環境ですら）
・一応Apple Siliconネイティブ

〈結論〉
ホームビデオや手軽に映えるSNS向けの動画作成にはおすすめできるが、ゲーム実況や解説動画など字幕を多用する動画を作る人は絶対に買ってはならない。
